Ryoma Hattori has been studying with 51Talk for over a year and has reached an Eiken Pre-2 level of English proficiency.

His interest in climate change began during a fishing trip, when a fisherman spoke about the effects of global warming on the ocean.

Inspired by this experience, Ryoma decided to share his thoughts as a “citizen of the Earth” living in an island nation surrounded by the sea. At COP29, he delivered a speech on marine warming, expressing his hope to protect the ocean and raise awareness about environmental issues.
