Little Voice, Big Impact: A Student’s SEEDS for the Planet at COP29

2026 年 2 月 26 日

Thanh Theerapasiri, a representative of 51Talk Thailand. In his speech, Thanh shared his own ideas and actions on how to help reduce climate change — showing that meaningful change can start with each individual and expand to make the world a better place.

He emphasized that environmental problems all have one thing in common — they stem from human actions. If humans can destroy the Earth, we can also heal it. Thanh then presented his solution framework called SEEDS, which stands for:

S – Save: Strive to conserve as much as possible — whether it’s food, water, or electricity. For example, always turn off lights and air conditioners before leaving a room.
E – Earth: Think of the planet with every step you take. Reuse, reduce, recycle, and plant trees to absorb carbondioxide.
E – Encourage: Spread awareness and motivate others to take part in protecting the environment.
D – Don’t Wait: Climate issues are urgent — everyone can take action right now.
S – Sustainability: Choose renewable energy, eco-friendly technology, and proper waste separation for recycling.

Through his message, Thanh reminded us that even small voices can make a big difference when it comes to saving our planet.
